GENRE-FORMING FEATURES OF SMALL NARRATIVES OF BREXIT IN THE ENGLISH SEGMENT OF FACEBOOK

Abstract

This article considers small narratives of Brexit in commentaries to posts in the English segment of Facebook. The research has been carried out within the framework of linguistic genristics. The definition of the content of the term "small narrative" is given, which is a non-prototype kind of narrative. The available scientific data on the features and genre structure of the Internet discourse have been systematized, the features of the hyperarchitecture of the social network Facebook and its sub-genres have been identified. The main genre-forming features of small narratives are characterized, which include tellership, modality, evaluation, tellability, linearity, intertextuality and extralingual properties.
