Purpose. The objectivity of information presentation is represented by a great number of verbs in the present tense and passive voice constructions. Primarily, the legal terms have cognitive information, but only part of them is known for the native speakers, because their use goes far beyond the juridical text the theoretical description of the system of derivational ties of the modern Ukrainian legal text and the substantiation of the special status of derivation as a universal principle of the functioning of the juridical language. An actual for modern linguistics is the creation of the lexical-derivative structure of the modern Ukrainian juridical text, which motivates the presence of a specific system education in it and organizes the interaction of internal and external determinants.

Methods. The research is carried out in the framework of the formed concept of derivatological description of language and derivational lexicology. The lexical derivation in modern linguistics is organically included in the general-language diverse field of derivativeness, the various forms of which in speech form a single continuous derivation-motivational process. The main methods in the work – the observation and logic-linguistic description, embedded in a dialectical logic, which is associated with all major opposition.

Results. The status of lexico-derivational connections in ontological and epistemological aspects is substantiated. Anthropocentric aspect, actualized as an appeal to the linguistic consciousness, acts as a peculiar mirror in solving the problems, ways of revealing the regularities of the organization of lexical material in the language system and as a verification of the initial hypotheses. It is proved that the status of derivational ties of the modern juridical text of the Ukrainian language is determined by the specific content and form of the manifestation. The dynamic character of the derivative development of the word is represented and is provided by two methods, which consist in the formation of derivational words and specifications.

Conclusions. The derivative potential of the text is understood as the ability of the text to enter into the derivational relations with other texts. From this perspective, the lexical-derivative development of the text is seen as one of the manifestations of the continuous derivational and motivational process. The specificity of the system-forming function of epidigma is manifested in the unity with the derivative function. To solve the problem of the word and the text interaction, we involve translingual space as the only speech-language matter in its derivational aspect, revealing the peculiarities of the word functioning in the context of derivational textology obtained when comparing texts that are in the relations of derivation.
